Aircraft Twirls Out of Control into Palm Fronds at Well-Known Southern California Coast
An aircraft hovering near a well-attended southern California beach abruptly began spiraling wildly, eventually losing altitude and smashing into a row of palm trees as onlookers observed.
Recordings uploaded online depict the aircraft commencing to spiral above the shoreline then falling towards the border of the shore, where it gets stuck among palm trees and a staircase near the shoreline route.
First Aid Update
Local firefighters stated five people were taken to hospital including a pair who were in the chopper and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” following the accident on that day.
Three people on the pavement were injured. Information on their wounds were not immediately available.
The cause of the crash was still under investigation.
