Montero Hill Enters Rehab After Altercation With Law Enforcement

Award-winning performer the rapper is now participating in residential care, as stated by his attorneys lately. The news comes in the wake of his arrest last month over various accusations entailing physical confrontation plus defying officers.

Legal Proceedings Confirms Wellness Program

During a proceeding on Monday, the artist’s legal representatives told the court that their client was engaged in treatment outside the state. The court allegedly permitted the defendant to continue away on condition that he persists in care.

“We’re addressing those issues” while “this is a temporary challenge he will overcome”, said his representatives.

Context of the Incident

The encounter happened in last month after Hill was reportedly walking down a Los Angeles street partially clothed before allegedly confronting law enforcement that had approached him.

He has denied the charges to multiple counts of assault against police personnel and one felony count of resisting an officer of the law.

Montero Hill initially climbed to fame in 2018 thanks to his historic track “Old Town Road,” which dominated music rankings for nearly five months. He later won several music awards.

Legal Risks

In the event of a conviction, Hill could face a maximum of five years in incarceration.

Following the event, the rapper shared a message on online saying, “I was deeply scared”, although “your girl’s gonna be all right”.
